Wey of Life: A Peer-Led Recovery Community

Wey of Life is a nonprofit peer recovery center dedicated to providing hope, connection, and support to individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder. As a program funded by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS), we follow the peer participatory model, ensuring that those with lived experience guide and shape our programs. Through peer-led groups, recovery coaching, and a welcoming community space, Wey of Life empowers individuals on their recovery journey.

Our Connection to South Shore Peer Recovery

South Shore Peer Recovery (SSPR) is the founding organization and original peer recovery center serving the South Shore community. Established in 2015 by a passionate group of individuals in recovery and their allies, SSPR has grown into a thriving nonprofit, providing critical peer support, education, and advocacy. Wey of Life is a proud extension of this mission, expanding access to peer recovery services and continuing the commitment to building a strong, supportive recovery community. Together, we stand as a testament to the power of peer support in transforming lives.
